Valentine's Frame

This was really quick to put together and of course fun to do! I printed "Love One Another" from someones blog (sadly, I can't remember whose).  I adhered it to the back of some designer series paper that is NEW in the Occasions Mini Catalog from Stampin Up! It is called Sweet Shop! I stamped a heart from a new stamp set from SU! P.S. I love you! (I am in LOVE with this set right now! The possibilities are endless!) I used the Boho Blossoms punch to add a flower  to the heart and then added a pearl to the flower. Added a touch of Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the L, V and at the end of Another. (It's a red, sparkly glue) This was very simple and took about 15 minutes.

A Lot to be THANKFUL for

A friend wanted to make a banner and asked me to join her! (Craft with a friend? I'm in!!) I went in thinking I was just going to help her, show her my tools and that would  be that. But she was so sweet and had cut enough chipboard for both of us! How fun! We used the Cricut to cut out the letters to spell out THANKFUL. I added a few rub-on's to some of the letters, added ribbon and called it good! I used the Bigz Clear Die by SU!, Scallop Square. I LOVE this die!!! It's the perfect size for a banner! I used ivory grosgrain ribbon (SU!) and hung it to enjoy for the month of November!

Thankful Journal

I made this simple journal by adding Stampin Up! desinger series paper, ivory cardstock and some leaves from the Cricut cartridge Stretch Your Imagination. The words and pumpkin are rub-ons. I made this for Connor so we could reflect on the things we have to be thankful for! He is writing down one thing each day in November. He is learning to read and write so this project is two-fold!

Halloween Banner

My first attempt at a banner. It was totally fun to do and didn't take much time. I used some cardboard I had in the house. I then cut the Only Orange paper (retired) to the cardboard. I stamped the background with black ink with a rubber stamp. I painted the bat, spider and pumpkins with black Making Memories paint and foam stamps. I cut the letters to spell BOO on the Cricut. I added jewels (faux diamonds) for the eyes! Connor loved this and has mad a bat and ghost on his own...a little something fun to get in the Halloween spirit!

A Nice Pair

I love this paper! So bright and cheery!! I made the card and was going to deep 6 the leftover DSP, Beyond the Garden. I decided to line the envelope to match it to the card instead. I have seen it done a few ways. Some people line the whole envelope (inside) with paper too. I think it looks nice both ways and adds a little WOW to your project.
